B.M.R. 'Mountaineer'

She was built by Willhelm Van den Heiden in 1970 and she ran in a park in Beekbergen then Harderwijk Dolphinairium, both in Holland until 1983. In 1985 she was brokered to Bush Mills via Severn Lamb who refurbished her. At that point she was called Sarah Louise. However, on arrival she was found to be under powered so DA1 was built to get her up their hill. In 1993 she was rebuilt with a bigger boiler and the cylinders were bored out. After her 1993 rebuild, she was renamed 'Mountaineer'. She ran there until Bush Mills closed in 2004 and was purchased, and imported, along with all of the BMR coaching stock, and locomotive DA1, for use at the CCLR in 2006.
