No. 24
| This locomotive was originally built by the Fairbourne Railway in 1990 to a gauge of 12.25. She was designed by John Ellerton and built at Fairbourne Railway workshops. By 1992, she had been sold and re-gauged to 15" gauge and was in service on the Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk. Problems with the boiler led to a new one being fitted prematurely in 1992. This was a little different to the original and had a deeper firebox and ashpan and better tube arrangement to cure earlier troubles in steaming. It was pitched about six inches higher and resulted in all the cab and superstructure being raised by the same amount. Despite the improvements, it soon became apparent that she was not really suited for regular running on the BVR and she was eventually withdrawn from service. Next, #24 saw service on the Kirklees Light Railway where she was painted yellow and re-numbered #2. A number of mechanical modifications were made to her during her stay here, including re-working of the valve gear. By 1997, she had returned to BVR, now back in black but still bearing #2 and looking a little sad. Though still in operating condition, she had now lost a few items in her travels and required a certain amount of running repairs. By 1997 it was apparent that the CCLR needed another large locomotive to join the locomotive fleet. #24 was offered for sale and was purchased by a group of CCLR individuals. The move from Aylsham to Cleethorpes was done by lorry on 27th of June 1997, and she has remained a resident of the CCLR ever since. During her time at Cleethorpes, she has also visited other railways, including The The Kirklees Light railway, The Bure Valley Railway and The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.
