Car:
Cleethorpes is located on the South bank of the Humber estuary to the
east of Grimsby and Immingham.
From the North on the A1 at Knottingley go east on the M62, south on the
M18 and east on the M180/A180.
From the south on the A1/A1M take the M18 north east to the M180 then
east as above on the M180/A180.
From Lincoln take the A46 towards Grimsby, watch out for signs to Cleethorpes
as you approach Grimsby.
Once in Cleethorpes: Follow the brown
and white signs for Pleasure Island and then Lakeside. Our Lakeside Station
is approximately three quarters of a mile to the west of Pleasure Island.
There is a large pay and display car park right next to Lakeside Station.
Kingsway Station is further west along Kings Road next to the Leisure
Centre, with a pay and display car park about two minutes walk away. Humberstone
North Sea Lane is accessed via Meridian Road which runs directly alongside
Lakeside station off Kings Road, follow the road over two level crossings
and along to the free car park next to the station. Please note - this
car park fills up very quickly and so may be full when you arrive, alternative
car parking is back at Lakeside station. The Postcode for Lakeside station
is: DN35 0AG.
By Train:
From Cleethorpes Station get a bus to the Leisure Centre. The bus stop
is next to Kingsway Station. Cleethorpes station is operated by Trans
Pennine Express, who operate a direct service to Manchester Airport via
Manchester Piciadilly. Northern rail also operate from Cleethorpes along
the Barton-on-Humber Branch.
During the summer holiday season, a road
train operates from Cleethorpes Pier (2 mins walk from National Rail Station)
and connects with CCLR services at Kingsway station. |
